We have been in the pet business for over 75 years and have over four generations of family knowledge and expertise. Our two pet shops in the small village of Horwich in Bolton, Lancashire, England are well known locally and attract customers and enquiries from near and far. We supply all major brands of dog and cat foods, speciality foods for parrots (including Kaytee and Zu-Preem), our own rabbit and guinea pig feeds, and a huge range of pet accessories and remedies. We have been breeding and rearing many species of animals for over 60 years.

Rabbits - we usually have a good selection of Netherland Dwarf Rabbits, Miniature Dwarf Lop-Eared Rabbits, Dwarf Lop-Eared Rabbits and Lionhead Rabbits available. Parrots - we specialize on English bred hand reared baby parrots including the following species African Grey Parrots, Senegal Parrots, Meyers Parrots, Timneh Grey Parrots, Amazons, Macaws, Cockatoo's, Cockatiels, Conures, Parakeets and our famous 'Monkey Parrots' (Black Headed Caiques). All our baby hand reared parrots are English bred and PBFD (psittacine beak and feather disease) tested, they come with a laminated hatch certificate, health certificate and insurance can be arranged (at extra cost). We have been breeding parrots for over 25 years, we also have a network of breeders locally and nationwide that breed and hand rear birds to a high standard for us.

We also have a good stock of parrot cages in many different designs some of which can be seen here, please note that we do not only sell the cages listed on the website - our stock of cages varies over many ranges and designs.if you are looking for a particular type of design of parrot cage give us a call and let us give you a price. Exotic Pets - we always have a selection of English bred reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates in store. English bred exotic pets are always that little bit more expensive, but they are much healthier than imported specimens. Please call us or email us for an up to date stock list.

For 4 generations the Pearson family have been involved in the pet trade in Horwich, Bolton. Starting with a Grain and Feeds supplies, Dog boarding kennels and to the present day our 2 shops in the town.

My name is Andy Pearson, and I believe like many others that the internet is the way forward, and by using this form of communication and interaction I intend to pass onto you the years of experience I have gained, not only first-hand, but from generations before me.
