The Pearson family have been involved in the pet trade for over 75 years... Andy Pearson who now runs the business took over 2 years ago when his parents Terry and Dorothy retired. Andy has grown up in an extraordinary environment ...surrounded by the most diverse collections of animals from being a small child, he has worked in the trade since leaving school and continues to carry on the family tradition.

Before Terry opened the current premises (1969), his father - Jack Pearson - owned dog-boarding kennels and was heavily involved with the dog showing circuit and well respected as a judge. If your dog had an ailment and Jack didn't know the remedy - then it wasn't worth knowing! Preceding Jack was his father, Tom, Andy's great grandfather, who ran a feed merchants supplying all the locals with poultry foods, horse foods, and dog foods.... young Jack was a common sight in those days delivering the goods on his horse and cart

Our main aim is to supply quality English bred animals and birds to the public. We strive to give our customers full information on care of the pets they own or are thinking of owning, we have decades of experience in not only dealing with animals but also owning and breeding them.... ranging from mice up to more exotic species such as Lemurs, Parrots, Wallabies and many other rare breeds.
